Usually the size of flexible intermediate bulk container varies from 75 to 75 cm up to 110 to110 cm - base and from 60 cm to 220 cm - height (!!! For better stability of the container suggest observe the following proportion: height - less than or equal to 1.5 the width of the base !!!). Average load capacity of FIBC is 1000 kg, but technically is possible to produce container carrying capacity up to 2000 kg. FIBC may have from one to four slings, different options to facilitate loading and discharging (open top; duffel top; tie-down flap; filling / discharge spout and / or discharge spout with petal closure; full drop bottom). For ease of loading and transportation of raw materials in the soft container, it can also be mounted on the pallet. Also, FIBCs easy to move, lifting it by slings. The content of soft container can easily pour, opening the bottom sack's valve (discharge spout with / without petal closure or full drop bottom) or simply cut the bottom. Such type of packaging as soft container reduces the cost of loading and transporting raw materials and protects the product from moisture.

The construction of this type of container does not include lifting devices. Lifting of cargo in the container is PROHIBITED. This type of container is only allowed to cover cargo.). Liner-bag is a large soft container for covering goods in euro-truck, a gondola car, a indoor (covered) railway car, 20-foot and/or 40-foot sea container. Applying of a soft container - liner allows the maximum use of a useful transport volume, whether it is a semitrailer, railway car or sea container and also protects the product itself from contact with the environment, and reduces the cost of transport by eliminating the possibility of its contamination with a spill of the product. Liner-bag can be produced both from laminated fabric, which significantly reduces the risk of wetting the product and from non-laminated, for transporting goods in covered transport, for goods which have fundamental importance to preserve the possibility of ventilation of the product. This type of package is manufacturing on an individual order based on the method of cargo transportation, the height of the product loading in transport and also the method of loading and/or unloading.
